Daylight Savings Time Change Instructions
Below you will find the instructions for changing the time on your phone system.  If you cannot find your system or have a problem changing the time please contact CDS at 419-475-1166

Toshiba Strata DK Phone System
From the Reception/Operator station (typically Extension 10 or 200)

  • Press the Intercom button and dial #652 (omit the # for some older software
  • Dial the time in 24 hour format (HHMMSS -- the SS is for seconds and MUST be included)
  • Press the redial button to save and Spkr to finish

Toshiba CTX/CIX Phone System
From the Reception/Operator station (typically Extension 10 or 200)

  • Dial #652
  • Dial the time in 24 hour format (HHMMSS -- the SS is for seconds and MUST be included)
  • Press the # key to save and lift the handset and put it back down to finish

Toshiba Stratagy Voicemail
From the banner screen of the Voice Mail Computer

  • Press Alt + D (for Date/Time change)
  • Enter your security code
  • Update the time and date fields as needed

Note: If you have the Stratagy DK Card Voice Mail (internal phone system card that is programmed by connecting to a laptop computer), the voice mail shold be programmed to synchronize time with the phone system control unit.  Try changing the phone system time first, allowing several minutes for the time change to be detected and adjusted by the Voice Mail. 


Samsung Phone Systems

  • Press the Transfer key
  • Dial 200
  • Enter the Admin Passcode
  • Press 1 to enable
  • Press the Spkr key
  • Dial 505
  • Enter the Date and Time following the prompts in the display (W = day of the week 1 being Monday)
  • When finished press the Transfer key

ESI Phone System

  • On any ESI phone press the PROG/HELP key (if using an ESI phone with separate keys press the Prog key)
  • The normal station programming will begin to play, press the HOLD key to enter system programming
  • You will be prompted to enter the Administrator password, do so followed by the # key
  • Dial 1 then 4
  • Press 1 to set Time
  • Enter the correct time using twelve hour format then press #
    • Example: Enter 1 2 3 3 # for 12:33 or 3 1 5 # for 3:15 (do not enter a leading zero)
  • Select AM or PM using the scroll key then press #
  • When the Date appears, EITHER:
    • Press # to accept if the date is correct
    • OR
    • Enter a new date in an eight digit format, including leading zeroes, press the # key to finish
      • Example: For October 30, 2009 enter 1 0 3 0 2 0 0 9 #

Panasonic DBS Phone System
From Extension 100 (typically the receptionist phone)

  • Press ON/OFF
  • Press Prog # #
  • Press # # (Display reads 1: Date 2: Time) Press 2 #
  • Enter two digits for the hour (24 hour format)
  • Enter two digits for the minute
  • Press #
  • Press ON/OFF to hang up and finish

Panasonic PanaVOICE Voice Mail System

  • Select the Time/Date icon from the Voice Mail computer main screen
  • Enter your password
  • Update the hour and minute fields as needed (be sure to use the AM/PM designator)
  • Select the SAVE button.  The correct date/time should now be displayed on your banner screen

This software has automatic daylight savings time functions, but requires the correct dates for the current year to be entered.  If you needed to change the time manually for DST change in April, your October date probably needs to be updated as well.  You may wish to verify Holiday dates as well since some dates your company utilizes may change from year to year.


Panasonic DBS 576 Phone System
From Extension 100 (typically the reception phone)

  • Press the ON/OFF button, then PROG, then * *, then CONF
  • Dial 000 and press the HOLD button
  • Enter two charecters for the year, two for the month and two for the day (YYMMDD)
  • Press the HOLD button
  • Enter two characters each for hours and minutes (HHMM)
  • Press the HOLD button
  • Enter the day of the week 1=Mon, 2=Tues, 3=Wed, 4=Thurs, 5=Fri, 6=Sat, 7=Sun
  • Press the HOLD button
  • Press the PROG button, then the ON/OFF button to finish

Replay Plus Voice Mail System

  • Log into the Voice Mail computer
  • Use PgDn to access page 4 of the application screens.  The current time field is displayed in the upper right quadrant of the screen.  Modify as needed.
  • As soon as you move off the time screen field the clock will be updated

Note: This system has automatic DST functions.  If your system did not change automatically the dates are probably wrong.  Daylight savings dates can be found and edited directly below the Holiday dates schedule.


Innovator Voice Mail System

  • Press VM Button or call the Voice Mail
  • Dial *999 (or *99 if you have 2 digit extensions)
  • Enter Password
  • Press 7 for system date and time
  • It will state the current date; if it is correct press 1, if not press 2 and enter the new date when prompted
  • It will state the current time; if it is correct press 1, if not press 2 and enter the new time when prompted
  • The Voice Mail will restart after you change the time
