About Us
CDS Telco, Inc. has served the telecommunication needs of Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan for over 30 years. CDS was founded in 1976 by president, Casey D. Smith. In 1978 CDS became the authorized service representative for ITT in the Toledo and surrounding areas and over the years has provided for the communication needs of over 2,500 customers.
In December 1984, during the deregulation of the telephone industry, CDS acquired the sales and marketing rights for northwest Ohio and southern Michigan from ITT. CDS retained several ITT employees including most of the service and installation staff. Our technicians have over 100 years of combined experience and training in the telecommunications industry. Our strong service team allows us to promote our guaranteed service response.
The company has grown and is comprised of dedicated communications professionals whose function is to provide quality products and customer service to our clients. CDS has expanded its product line to include Toshiba and Samsung digital business systems with related voicemail products. We also install LAN wiring, digital interface hardware and paging systems. CDS is also an authorized distributor for Buckeye Telesystem and Broadvox products and services in both Ohio and Michigan.
